Shaping the waterjetted and glued-together foam slices. These first slices are aligned by permanent wooden dowels as wood can be sanded easier than the steel alignment tubes used elsewhere in the body plugs's construction. The shaping of this section was the most difficult of all the bodywork due to the sharp curves. Most of the other slices had less than a 1/4" difference to their neighbors at any point. Still, this went by very quickly. This was taken with my Canon SD790 still camera.
